Chapter three

That night, the two were getting ready for bed. Cherry was in the bathroom while Dorian was in the bedroom, reading a magazine or his phone. Cherry wasn't paying attention. She had the door closed. She looked in the mirror, sighing. Her reddish hair falling into her eyes and she looked into the sink. How could anyone fall for her? Her paw-hands clenched onto the bathroom sink as she thought about what happened earlier with Flame. Dorian's eyes had turned a cold hard yellow. Almost a gold. Cherry widened her eyes as she thought about the crashing window and the fight of the two males. Dominance had struck the room hard and fast. The feline curled her tail, wiped away her fallen tears, and fixed her hair. She opened the door and walked out of the bathroom. She smiled softly at the wolf who was now laying on her bed.
He slowly got up when she came out in her normal pj's. a shirt and pj bottoms. She walked up to him. His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck gently, careful not to choke him. Her blue eyes gave a twinkle that Dorian leaned in and kissed her nose. She laughed softly. She leaned up and kissed his mouth instead of his nose or cheek. Dorian's eyes widened in surprise. They both leaned more into the kiss, their eyes closing as they felt their lips connected and not wanting to let go. But they did let go. Their lips disconnected.
"I have to go love." Dorian wrapped his fingers with hers, their hands pressing close into one another's, their hands gently squeezing together.
"Please don't." Cherry's eyes saddened when he spoke that way.
He sighed. "Please don't give me those eyes." Cherry couldn't help it. Her eyes widened with the sadness in her heart that was breaking over and over. Her tail found his and intertwined with his.
"But baby," she whined softly, her face going into his chest. "Please don't leave me." Her other paw-hand tightened into his chest.
"Okay," he said softly. He picked her up into his arms and carried her into the bed. He hovered over her in the dim light of the room. Their eyes locking and lips close once more. They kissed once more, missing each other everytime they pulled away from one another's lips. They closed their eyes quickly as soon as their lips connected. Their breath quick and fast as they started parting and unparting their lips, their tongues slowly sliding into the other's mouth with one another's permission. Dorian paused before his tongue glided along hers, deepening the kiss each time their lips parted and unparted. They slowly pulled away, their tongues gliding once more, their eyes slowly opening to see one another. Cherry's legs were up against Dorian's sides, Dorian slowly leaned down to Cherry's cheek, kissing it then continued. Cherry felt his lips across her fur as he went down around her jawline to her neck. He slowly kissed at her neck, one hand rubbed her cheek. She closed her eyes when he did but then his paw-hand went down further around her other side of her cheek. She froze when his paw-hand reached down to her left breast. Dorian stopped, pulling away. He looked deep in her eyes.
"I'm sorry," he apologized. Then again he apologized for the same thing. "I'm sorry  I should have asked if it was okay to." He nuzzled her nose with his. He rested his face into her neck lovingly. Cherry pulled him closer.
"It's okay baby. It's fine," Cherry replied softly into his ear. Dorian shook his head softly into her neck.
"No you froze. It's not okay."
"Dorian..."
"Cherry I couldn't help myself. I missed you so much." Dorian had mumbled into Cherry's neck. She barely heard him but still did. She missed him too. She hugged him tightly.
"I missed you too so much," her voice went into his ear softly. Dorian looked at her. She looked back. Their eyes had met deeply and passionately.
"Cherry?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I love you too and I always will."
